Group Therapy Acupuncture Services
Dr. Leah Rebekah provides professionally facilitated group acupuncture services for behavioral health, addiction recovery, trauma, psychiatric, and wellness facilities throughout Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade counties.
This service integrates acupuncture, somatic healing practices, guided meditation, and therapeutic group processing into a structured behavioral health intervention designed to complement existing clinical programming.
Moving beyond the traditional NADA protocol, Dr. Leah has developed an integrative group treatment framework informed by East Asian medicine, nervous system regulation, trauma-informed care, neuroplasticity, and embodied therapeutic practice. Each session is developed around the goals of the treatment program and adapted to the clinical needs of the participating group.
Group sessions may include sterile, single-use acupuncture needles or non-invasive auricular therapies such as magnets or ear seeds when clinically appropriate. Additional therapeutic modalities, including guided meditation, sound therapy, aromatherapy, breathwork, and somatic awareness practices, may be incorporated based on the objectives of the group and the needs of the facility.
Services are appropriate for residential treatment centers, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), outpatient behavioral health programs, psychiatric facilities, trauma recovery programs, and integrative wellness organizations.
Clinical Applications
Programming may be developed to support:
- Addiction recovery
- Trauma recovery

- Relapse prevention programming
- Psychoeducational groups
- Wellness and resilience programming
Collaborative Program Development
Each partnership begins with consultation with the facility's clinical leadership to understand the organization's philosophy of care, patient population, therapeutic objectives, and existing programming. Group sessions are then developed to complement the facility's treatment model and integrate with the work of therapists, psychiatrists, physicians, nurses, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
Patient and Staff Programming
Group Therapy Acupuncture Services may be provided for patients as part of an organization's therapeutic programming or for clinicians, healthcare providers, staff, and faculty through employee wellness initiatives.
Staff programming may include wellness days, professional development events, resilience programming, burnout prevention initiatives, and workplace wellness experiences. Sessions are adapted to the needs of the organization while maintaining the same integrative approach used within patient programming.
